Vickery has been my gym home since it opened. I have made lifelong friends, met my wife, and improved my health and fitness immensely since joining. Going to the gym seems less of a chore and is something I look forward to on a daily basis. The gym's program cycles are built for longevity and each person is catered to in class based off of their level of fitness. I've tried a lot of gyms in Dallas, and Vickery Athletics is genuinely different. The community here is tight-knit in a way that I haven't found anywhere else. People know your name, cheer you on, and hold you accountable without it feeling forced or corny. The programming is really well thought out. Each workout is structured to challenge you no matter your fitness level, and you can tell the coaches put real thought into how sessions build on each other over time. Best gym in Dallas.

Vickery Athletics. This gym is Gold. It truly is what I like to do "for fun" because it is so much more than just a "gym". When I walk in, it's a community. The people become your friends and your accountability. The workouts will push you, but the programming intentionally crafted. Vickery Athletics is for everyone. You can be a fitness wizard or just getting into the journey of fitness. ANY workout can be altered for ANYone at ANY skill level. Everyone in this gym has had their first day/week where it could seem a little intimidating to just walk in to something new but the coaches and members make sure you feel welcome, comfortable and confident.
I joined VA over a year ago when I was new to Dallas and it's been the best decision I've made since moving here! Not only am I stronger/fitter than I've been in years, but I've made so many friends which is invaluable and hard to do as an adult. I truly look forward to going to the gym after work and getting to catch up with my friends, coaches, and (of course) hang with the dogs. The programming always includes a great variety of athletic movements and the coaches offer scales for all fitness levels. Couldn't recommend this gym more!
Adding on personal training through Vickery is one of the best decisions I have made for my health. The combination of one-on-one attention with a trainer like Stefan who has the experience and knowledge more commonly found in more expensive, boutique gyms has been awesome. Not only has the training helped me reach my strength goals, it has allowed me to exercise more by fitting around my schedule and syncing up with class programming. Heartily recommend for busy professionals, parents of young kids, or anyone looking to meet a fitness goal.
Vickery Athletics is one of those gems you are incredibly fortunate to experience. The trainers are UNBELIEVABLE in their knowledge and expertise. The community is warm, inviting and accepting. The workouts are scalable for any skill level and comfort level. You will be challenged, but to your capacity. Why Vickery
If you want the barbells, conditioning, and community of a CrossFit gym but with structured programming instead of random daily workouts, that is what we do. Four principles run every class:

Named cues, real scaling, live form feedback. Classes are small enough that you get eyes on your movement — not a whistle from across the room.
New to the barbell or ten years in, every movement has a version that meets you where you are. No gatekeeping, no intimidation.
Classes from 5:30am through 6:30pm Monday–Friday plus Saturday morning. Drop-ins welcome. Showers on site. Out the door in 60 minutes.
Built, Not Born
Nobody walks in strong. It gets built — one coached rep stacked on the last, one cycle stacked on the one before it. Our 6–10 week program cycles turn that slow math into something you can see: a heavier bar, a faster finish, a body that does more than it did in spring.

How It Works
Most gyms write today's workout on a whiteboard and hope it adds up. Vickery writes cycles. Here's how a month of training takes shape.
Coaches set the 6–10 week target — like building back squat, conditioning capacity, or an aerobic base — and program backward from it.
Each week undulates intensity, volume, and movement patterns. Heavy days, conditioning days, and accessory days are sequenced so nothing stacks badly.
Every session is coached live. Warm-up, skill or strength, conditioning, cool-down. Real cues, real scaling, real feedback — not a whistle.
Lifts go up. Conditioning scores drop. Body comp changes. We use InBody scans and documented workout scores so progress is a fact, not a vibe.

Your First 30 Days
Starting is the hard part. Here's exactly how the first month goes.
Walk in, meet a coach, tour the Belmont Ave floor. Your first two classes are on us — no pressure, no contract to sign at the door.
You drop into the current program cycle. Every movement is scaled to where you actually are, so day one is challenging — not crushing.
New recurring members get a free InBody scan to baseline body composition. Coaches dial in your scaling and the habits that move the needle.
After a month of coached classes, off-hours open-gym access opens up. By now the room knows your name — and you've got a base to build on.
